Professional Development and Soft Skills CoursesEach of these learn-by-doing programs is between two and four hours long and focuses on application of skills in simulations that represent real-world workplace environments. At the beginning of each program, you will be presented with an overall program goal. As you progress through the simulations, your performance impacts the overall outcome of the program and your ability to reach the program goal. Throughout each program, you will be challenged with realistic situations and rewarded for solving problems and reaching your objectives. Each course map provides several units. Each unit gives you access to a learning activity, an assessment, and a simulation. In each unit, you are challenged to learn important skills about the program topic and apply your knowledge in simulations that mirror experiences you will have on the job. Each unit begins with a learning activity that gives you specific learning objectives. You are also given in-line exercises to practice your ability to perform the learning objectives, as well as examples that illustrate how the concepts discussed in the content apply to real-world situations.
