We are providers of Computer Based Training (CBT), distance learning/self study courses or training for Individuals, IT Professionals and businesses.

Keimos is a specialist independent IT training organisation and has succeeded in providing high quality, practical, Distance Learning computer training since 2001 at affordable prices.

Since that time we have successfully trained hundreds of students in Office Skills, PC Repair, Networking, Web Design, Database Administration, Operating Systems and programming.

Our aim is to provide our students with good quality courses that not only teach the required skills but also ensure that the student understands what they have learnt rather than just learning the answers and being the holders of paper qualifications.

In addition to several years as trainers, all training staff have professional qualifications and industrial experience, bringing the benefit of commercial reality to the way that the courses are developed.

Keimos, is based in North Wales and is owned and run by Keith Duncan.

Keith has over 18 years experience in training as well as in business and has been involved with IT training for the last 6 years. Two of which involved studying through a distance learning/self study course. This means we know the problems that are involved with this type of study.

We specialise in customising our courses to suit each individual where any of our standard courses do not provide the necessary training required which is why we like to discuss your training requirements to ensure that the course you are taking is the right one for you.

Support is provided for all courses, either by Keimos or ICS Learning Systems depending on an individuals needs.

Training programme.

Our training is modular based with self-assessment testing to ensure that a trainee only moves on to the next module after successfully completing the previous one - aiding understanding, boosting information retention and enhancing the learning experience.

Because E Learning does not vary in quality from day to day, class to class, or environment to environment, the information conveyed and presentation remains consistent. Every course meets the learning objectives required to pass the certification exams and to effectively employ technology on the job. Using this method we take the classroom to you so that you can learn when and where you want to and at your own pace.

All courses are staged with either in-course assessments or qualifications triggering the release of the next stage of the course.

Accredited Courseware.

The supplier of our courseware NETg strives for the closest working relationship possible with Microsoft, Cisco, CIW, Netscape, CompTIA, Novell, IBM, the ECDL foundation and Oracle to produce not only the most up-to-date library of courses, but also the most relevant content. By having courseware that follows the “official curriculum” students are assured of getting the most relevant content directly from source. The courseware is mapped directly to the development partners certification programmes, resulting in a comprehensive e-Learning experience for the student. With students from the likes of ICI, AT&T, Logica, Lufthansa and the NHS, some of the biggest companies in this country, the courses have already proved there worth.

Courses

Although we provide tailor-made courses there are standard courses available that meet the needs of the IT industry. These courses provide the student with real life knowledge and certification that is recognised worldwide.

Some of the courses that we currently provide offer no certification but will provide the student with enough knowledge and skills to compliment many of the certification courses. For these courses we provide a Certificate of Study so that you do get something for your efforts
